Seamoss Waffles

Seamoss Waffles - Easy and Delicious!

These light and fluffy seamoss waffles have the perfect hint of spice!

PREP TIME: 2 mins

COOK TIME: 10 mins (depends on waffle maker)

TOTAL TIME: 12 mins

SERVINGS: 2 large waffles (4 small waffles)


Ingredients

  • 7/8 cups milk (alternatively non-dairy milk of your choice)

  • 1/4 cup oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1/4 cup seamoss gel

  • 1 cups flour

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and spices (cinnamon and or pumpkin spice) until blended.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, oil, vanilla, and seamoss gel (ensure the seamoss gel is mixed well).

  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and mix until just combined (a few small lumps are okay). Set aside

  4. Preheat your waffle iron. Add the batter and cook according to your waffle maker's directions.

  5. Serve warm, and top with syrup, whipped cream, and cinnamon, if desired.
